About the role

Mersona Limited is an established manufacturing and distribution centre providing a dedicated service to the Scrivens Optical and Hearing Care Group.

As a Customer Services Assistant, you will be part of the team responsible for fulfilling customer optical orders by achieving local process goals and responding to all queries and requests from company branches.

All tasks are to be completed in a timely, courteous and professional manner, whilst maintaining great relationships with branch staff.

Responsibilities

• Support branches by answering queries and providing order information

• Enter optical orders onto business systems for production

• Place orders with approved optical suppliers

• Generating and receipting product invoices

• Receive supplied product and allocation to production orders

• Locate and fast-track orders through the production process

What we’re looking for

Basic optical experience would be beneficial, but not essential. Training for the role will be provided by our dynamic and friendly team.

The ideal candidate will have the following key skills and characteristics:

• Excellent communication skills

• Great rapport building ability

• Attention to detail

• Able to work in a busy and fast paced environment

• IT literate (familiar with Microsoft Office tools – Word / Excel)

• Good time keeping and attendance
