HR Administrator
About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our Human Resources team at our Birmingham Head Office.
As a Human Resources Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function by taking ownership of a wide range of administrative tasks and providing an efficient, proactive, and confidential service to the HR team, managers, and employees across the business.
This is a full-time position offering variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to develop your HR knowledge within a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
This is a varied generalist administration role with a particular focus on:
Managing onboarding and new starter processes
Completing employment reference requests
Processing DBS checks
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
Supporting the HR team with day-to-day administrative activities
Providing excellent customer service to employees and managers
Ensuring all administration is completed accurately, efficiently, and confidentially
You will be working within a busy office environment where organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
What we’re looking for
Previous HR experience is not essential; however, it would be advantageous if you are already studying towards or have achieved a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills
Be a self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
Have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
Possess exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
Be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Ideally have experience working within a corporate office environment
